Students from Franklin Academy in East Haddam, CT stopped by to take a tour of CCAT’s Advanced Manufacturing Center today. Led by AMC Manager Wayne Sumple, the students learned about 3D printing with metals and plastics, machining parts, and even got first-hand experience as to how structured white light scanning works using the Kuka HA30 robot to facilitate the process.
Hopefully some brilliant students were inspired to become manufacturers today!
