In a bold move to support manufacturers' transition to the digital age, Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) is partnering with Quinnipiac University. This partnership aims to help manufacturers adapt to modern methods like model-based definition (MBD), an essential part of staying competitive in today's digital manufacturing world.
This collaboration brings together CCAT’s cutting-edge technical expertise and Quinnipiac’s leadership in organizational change to deliver a comprehensive learning experience that goes beyond technology. MBD is rapidly becoming a requirement for manufacturers working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and defense contracts, and this initiative ensures that Connecticut’s manufacturing community is prepared to meet that challenge head-on.
Model-based definition isn’t just a tech upgrade. It’s a business imperative for manufacturers working with OEMs and defense contracts.
—Dr. Amy Thompson, Chief Technology Officer, CCAT
