CCAT’s Education and Workforce team to support STEM/Advanced Manufacturing & Technology Expo

CCAT’s Education & Workforce Development team will be on hand to show its wares as the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s Manufacturing Council host its eighth annual STEM/Advanced Manufacturing & Technology Expo on Friday, Nov. 30. The free and public event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Technology Hall Atrium of Naugatuck Valley Community College, 750 Chase Parkway in Waterbury. With support from NVCC, the Smaller Manufacturers Association, and the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board, hundreds of middle and high school students from throughout Greater Waterbury will attend the expo to directly interact with local and state manufacturing and technology executives. They will have the opportunity to view exhibits and demonstrations to learn about job and career opportunities in STEM from leading area manufacturers. Also, listen for CCAT to take part in a live spot on WATR 1320AM that morning.
