CCAT participating in Big Tech Showcase; radio broadcast weekend of Nov. 10

How will new technologies continue to revolutionize our world? What ethical standards should we demand regarding our data, privacy, and safety? How will tech breakthroughs change the way we interact with each other and think about ourselves? The award-winning radio show Pulse of the Region will air weekend broadcasts on the Big Tech Showcase: “What is the future we are building?” sponsored by the state Department of Economic and Community Development, MetroHartford Alliance and the Connecticut Forum on Nov. 16 at the Bushnell Auditorium. The radio show will include a panel discussion about the event, technology and manufacturing with Ron Angelo, President and CEO of the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Bart Kollen, Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development, and Jamie Daniel, Director of Programming for The Connecticut Forum.  Pulse of the Region is hosted by Brian Boyer of the MetroHartford Alliance and co-sponsored by CCAT and Oak Hill Academy.
