Once again, the young women from Sacred Heart Academy did exceedingly well at the 69th annual Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair. CSEF, a yearly, statewide science and engineering fair provides a forum for middle and high school students to showcase their scientific prowess. Held at Quinnipiac University, the event helps attract young people to careers in science and engineering while developing skills essential to critical thinking. More than 650 young scientists representing 122 schools worked diligently on the over 560 research projects that were entered in this year’s fair and approximately 150 students were be selected as finalists.
