Connecticut nonprofit aiding Rhode Island businesses (New Haven Register, 8/16/2016)

The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) has begun working with small manufacturers in Rhode Island.

The East Hartford-based nonprofit economic development organization is bringing its expertise in precision machining and manufacturing to members of the Rhode Island Manufacturers Association. The Rhode Island-based trade group has more than 1,500 members.

RIMA President and Chief Executive Officer Bill McCourt said working with CCAT can help small manufacturers in his state become more efficient, productive and profitable.
