MCC Students Tour the AMC

A group of students from Manchester Community College (MCC) stopped by CCAT’s Advanced Manufacturing Center for a tour on December 6.

Among the group were students from the Precision Manufacturing Program at MCC and their instructors, Paul Corchesne, Gerald Mateya, and Robert Torrani, who was also a former Director of the AMC. The purpose of the Precision Manufacturing Program is to help fill the pipeline with skills that have been deemed critical to the aerospace manufacturing sector in the region. Many of the students already are working as interns at area manufacturers, but came to the AMC to get a better view at the technologies and processes that CCAT has to offer.
