State manufacturers to get spot on global aerospace stage (Hartford Courant, 7/11/16)

Eleven Connecticut companies will share space at a booth set up by the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) and the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) at Farnborough airshow running from July 11 – July 17 of 2016. Wayne Sumple, Advanced Manufacturing Center manager at CCAT, said the nonprofit group and DECD paid $100,000 to set up the Connecticut booth at Farnborough.

Connecticut aerospace manufacturers promote, advance and increase brand awareness and sales next to conglomerates such as GE and UTC at the airshow. It is expected to draw as many as 200,000 players from the global aerospace industry.
