The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology together with Connecticut State Department of Education and Connecticut College of Technology’s National Center for Next Generation Manufacturing is pleased to present: People, Pathways, and Technology for the Future Manufacturing Workforce – A Professional Development Series for Educators.

This 3 part series will focus on increasing awareness of Manufacturing careers for all students, with a particular focus on increasing access and engaging those underrepresented in STEM fields.

In this second webinar of the series, you will hear from rising manufacturing professionals about the varied journeys they took to get to succeed in their careers.

We’ll hear from Carolyn Alessi, Connecticut chair of Million Women Mentors, on the key role mentors play to inspire and advocate for student and employee success.

The College of Technology will give a deep dive into manufacturing education pathways.
