Reaping the Benefits of Process Control in Modern Manufacturing. Part 3: In-Process Control

March 23, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join CCAT and Renishaw for this Process Foundation Webinar Series.

The third of a four-part series designed to showcase Renishaw’s manufacturing philosophy known as The Productive Process Pyramid™.  The In-process control layer is focused on acting on information gathered during the manufacturing process. This includes monitoring tool conditions during the metal cutting process and measuring machined features in the machine or on the shop floor next to the machine to acquire live process data. Once the data is acquired, systems can respond automatically to maintain control of the process.

Learning Objectives:

  • The benefits of in-process tool monitoring.
  • In-cycle gauging techniques to minimize process variation on the machine.

Target Audience: Process/Production Planners/Engineers, Continuous Improvement Engineers, Maintenance Planners/Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Owners/Managers, CAD/CAM Programmers, and Quality Engineers/Managers

Trainer:  Justin Lebel, Sales Application Engineer, Renishaw
