It's thanks to the initial grant funding and the encouragement of the CCAT staff that we were able to push through the early challenges and deliver our award-winning GPS Pro to market. The resources available to us as part of the CCAT Incubator Program have enabled us to move out of the basement and into a real office.

[Webinar] Fuel Cells for Educational Facilities

Organized By: The Northeast Electrochemical and Energy Storage Cluster (NEESC) and the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA)
When: October 7, 2015 | 3PM – 4PM ET

Colleges and universities have facilities for students, faculty, administration, and maintenance crews that typically include dormatories, cafeterias, gyms, libraries, and athletic departments. Furthemore, schools that house swimming pools on campus are more attractive applications for fuel cells because it increases the utilization of both the electrical and thermal output offered by the technology. In the event of a grid power failure, educational institutions, such as high schools, may be used as emergency shelters. Schools may use fuel cells as an educational learning opportunity. Webinar participants will learn about the technical and economic advantages of using fuel cell technologies as a solution for providing reliable, resilient power to educational facilities, such as colleges, universities, and high schools.

Fused Deposition Technology - Seminar and Live Demo

Cimquest will be coming to the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT) for the third educational workshop in our 3D Printing series.

In this installment a production printer will be present to help demonstrate the Stratasys Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology. FDM Technology is great for applications that demand tight tolerances, high strength, and varied environmental stability since it uses the same tried and tested production‐grade thermoplastics found in traditional manufacturing processes.
