Introduction to Additive/3D Printing: Industrial Grade 3D Printers and Materials for Plastics and Composites
February 18, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
As Additive Manufacturing (AM or 3D Printing) continues to grow as a manufacturing tool for making end-use parts and for making prototypes, fixtures, tooling, assembly guides and a myriad of other manufacturing uses, the number of machines and materials available to work with continue to grow. This workshop will introduce you to the technologies, tools and materials available to modern manufacturers today.
CCAT’s Advanced Manufacturing Center and the ACT Group will discuss modern industrial 3D Printer technology and applications.
Funding is available for eligible CT Manufacturers through the Additive Manufacturing Adoption Program (AMAP) grant. This grant, funded by the CT Department of Economic and Community Development and administered by CCAT, can provide up to $100,000 to help you infuse Additive into your production environment. Attend this workshop to learn more about the technologies to support your company, and find out more about the AMAP grant at https://www.ccat.us/amap/
This session will be recorded and available on-demand following the workshop.
