As Director - Advanced Manufacturing Center, Paul is responsible for overseeing and directing all activities associated with the development of state-of-the-art manufacturing methods for machining, additive manufacturing, 3D printing, inspecting and characterization of parts made from aerospace alloys, refractory metals, ceramics, and composites. Paul has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in engineering and operations which includes: VP-Operations for Bloomy Controls, VP-Operations for Xamax, VP-Commercial Operations for Nuvera, VP-Service Group for FuelCell Energy, Chief Operating Officer for New York Graphics Society, VP-Operations for AAR Engine Component Services, and various Director and Manager roles for Pratt & Whitney and General Electric. He has extensive domestic and international experience in directing a multi-country profit and loss business sectors for small to medium size high tech companies. An expert in the implementation of operational excellence initiatives that enhance performance, improve quality, reduce costs, and generate sustainable revenue and earnings gains, Paul is a practitioner of lean manufacturing techniques. He was one of the original 26 GE six-sigma master black belts and was trained directly by Shingijutsu of Japan in the Toyota Production Method and Nobel Prize Nominee, John Costanza, in Demand Flow Technology. Paul graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s degree from The University of Pennsylvania and Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree from The Cooper Union in Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineering. Professionally, he has completed the MIT Sloan School Supply Chain Management Certification Program and the GE Executive Management and Business Development Training Program.
