Senior Director, Advanced Analytics, Insights and Reporting for Operations for Medtronic Brings Experience with Supply Management and Advanced Analytics

East Hartford, CT – The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), a premier manufacturing technology resource for manufacturers across the state, announced that Teri Prive has joined the nonprofit’s Board of Directors. Her track-record for delivering exceptional performance results through strategic goal setting will help CCAT as it focuses on accelerated growth and expands its service offerings and state-wide delivery to meet growing manufacturer demand.

I look forward to seeing how Ron Angelo and his exceptional team grow this business across Connecticut,” says Prive. 

In her role at Medtronic, Prive is responsible for analytics and insights strategy, leading an expert team in the execution of 50+ analytics products across operations. She is responsible for automating the delivery of Operational Metrics and optimizing a one-of-a-kind analytics delivery platform allowing global access to analytics across the entire organization.

In her prior role as Senior Director of Supply Management Operations Excellence, Prive led the transformation of the organization through standardized, “best practice” processes, continuous improvement systems and strategies. Her key focus was on margin enhancement, improvement in working capital, mitigating risk, and accelerating product speed to market through cost modeling/analytics.

Prior to joining Medtronic, Prive spent 27 years with Stanley Black and Decker, a leading hand and power tools company. Her experience spans all areas of Supply Management, including strategy, cost analytics, sourcing processes, program management and training.  She also held senior positions in product management, productivity, program management, engineering, and manufacturing during her tenure. 

Teri holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She lives in Southington with her husband, Marc. They have two sons, Devin and Dillon. Outside of work, Teri enjoys playing volleyball and golf and spending time with her family and three dogs.
