In this week’s webinar for CT Manufacturers, Dr. Mark Maybury, Chief Technology Officer at Stanley Black & Decker, will share his insights on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Advanced Manufacturing, discussing the opportunities and value for manufacturers offered by this critical Industry 4.0 technology.

As the Chief Technology Officer at Stanley Black & Decker, Mark manages a team across the company’s businesses and functions and advises on technological threats and opportunities, as well as provides access to all elements of the global technology ecosystem. Prior to joining Stanley Black & Decker, Mark spent 27 years at The MITRE Corporation, where he held a variety of strategic technology roles, including Vice President of Intelligence Portfolios, Chief Security Officer, and Director of the National Cybersecurity Federally Funded Research and Development Center. Before joining MITRE, Mark served as a U.S. Air Force officer, to which institution he later returned as Chief Scientist from 2010 to 2013. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, a master’s degree in computer speech and language processing, a Master of Business Administration, and a doctoral degree in artificial intelligence. Mark is extremely active in the Connecticut technology community, and we are elated that he has volunteered his time.
