(CTPost, 10/10/19) MIDDLETOWN — State officials marked Manufacturing Month by joining high school students on a tour of Pegasus Manufacturing on Timber Ridge Road earlier this week.
Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, state Sen. Matt Lesser and state Rep. Quentin Phipps visited the facility Oct. 4 to hear from students and employees about their work in the manufacturing field.
Since 2011, Connecticut has proclaimed October Connecticut. Dream It. Do It. Manufacturing Month. Now in its eighth year, Manufacturing Month features a broad range of activities to introduce young people to careers in manufacturing, with Connecticut’s manufacturers in the spotlight, according to the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology.
