CCAT represents Clean Energy at the 20th annual The Future of Energy: What’s the Deal? Conference and Exposition

CCAT’s Director of Energy Joel Rinebold took part in the 20th annual The Future of Energy: What’s the Deal? Conference and Exposition on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, Connecticut. The event, hosted by Connecticut Power and Energy Society (CPES) included panel discussions, two keynote speakers, and industry networking. The keynote speakers included Marissa PaslickGillett, Chairman of Connecticut’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and Alex Klaessig, Research Director for the IHS Markit Gas, Power, and Energy Futures team, specializing in understanding how environmental regulation, technology, and innovation drive changes in North American electric power markets.

Rinebold moderated the panel “Clean Energy – Made in Connecticut,” which focused on Connecticut’s energy future, consisting of clean and durable energy systems that contributes to sustainable and reliable service. Due to these durable energy systems, Connecticut successfully contributes to high quality job creation and economic development valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars with thousands of jobs. Also representing the Clean Energy panel were some Connecticut manufacturers that stand ready to meet the challenge in the global market for clean energy technology that meets the need for clean and reliable power, and provides local jobs and economic development for the state. These manufacturers included US Hybrid in South Windsor – represented by Abas Goodarzi President and CEO, Nel in Wallingford – represented by Steve Szymanski, Director of Business Development, and R&D Dynamics in Bloomfield – represented by Giri Agrawal, President and CEO.
