A fuel-cell power plant will be built in Pittsburgh at the NRG Energy Center.
Danbury, Conn.-based FuelCell Energy Inc. (Nasdaq: FCEL) made the announcement Wednesday about building the facility using solid oxide fuel cells. The company said the fuel-cell power plant will bring energy to the NRGcomplex, which heats and cools 6 million square feet of space in downtown Pittsburgh buildings.
