YMA Program Earns High Marks

Students and parents have been thrilled with CCAT’s summer Young Manufacturers Academy (YMA) programs!

“Thanks again for a wonderful program. I shared this picture and my thoughts with Mrs. Larson and Dr. Carter. Well done Calvin and team! We look forward to next year’s opportunities,” said Bessie Viar, parent of a YMA student.

YMA programs, run by CCAT in partnership with the Connecticut Technical High School system and supported with funding from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development’s Manufacturing Innovation Fund, offer 7th through 9th graders an innovative introduction to the advanced manufacturing industry.
