Connecticut companies garner nearly $200K in nanotech SBIR grants Massachusetts High Tech Three Nutmeg State companies reeled in a total of $195,000 in state funding for nanotechnology research and development. Each company won a $65,000 grant from the Connecticut Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Office. The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology Inc. is expected to co-administer the grants, which are focused on fuel cell-based nanotechnology used in military and commercial unmanned vehicles.
