East Hartford: The State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Northeast Utilities, and the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT) are bringing the State of Connecticut exhibit to the 2010 Farnborough Air Show on July 19-25. As part of the exhibit, aerospace suppliers are invited to represent Connecticut's world class aerospace industry alongside companies like EDAC Technologies Corporation, SPX Precision Components, and Whitcraft, LLC.

By exhibiting in the State's booth, companies can save fifty percent off the price of exhibiting on their own.  For only $9,500, companies will get their own reserved space in the CT Manufacturing Exhibit in the U.S. Pavilion. They also receive week-long exhibitor passes, access to the exhibitor lounge and meeting rooms, and have space to display everything from graphics, to literature and equipment.

This is a rare opportunity to connect with aerospace companies from all over the world.  As a part of the State of Connecticut exhibit manufacturing companies will be able to interact with over 500,000 attendees and over 1,500 exhibitors. There are still a few spaces available for interested companies.

"I have been trying to get a foot into the door with Rolls Royce for many years," said Douglas Rose, President of Aero Gear. "This air show allowed me to make the contacts necessary to develop them into a customer. The show was a home-run for Aero Gear."

To register for the air show or for more information contact Wayne Sumple, Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. at 860-282-4222 or by email at wsumple@ccat.us.
