2007 Paris Air Show

June 18-24, 2007 Paris Air Show
The State of Connecticut went to the 2007 Paris Air Show in France on June 18-24, 2007.  The Connecticut Center for Manufacturing Supply Chain Integration (CMSCI), the CT Department of Economic & Community Development DECD and 12 Connecticut manufacturers were promoting Connecticut’s World Class Aerospace Supply Chain at the show. Each of the suppliers paid $7500 for space in the US Pavilion as part of the State of Connecticut Exhibit which got them space to display their graphics, literature and equipment, a week long show pass, access to the exhibitor lounge, a listing in the show directory and coordination of hotel and transportation to and from the show.  This was a deal considering the cost of floor space and booth construction came to more than $200,000, the balance of which was picked up by the state through CMSCI.
