CCAT's Incubator program

One of CCAT's major goals is to promote the use of incubator space for new technology based companies and entrepreneurs. CCAT, which operates business incubators at both its Pitkin Street headquarters and its Innovation Center, is a perfect first home for any technology company.

CCAT is home to more than a dozen technology based start-ups, businesses and academic partners, including UConn's Entrepreneurial Center and Intellectual Property Law Clinic. Start-ups based at CCAT have access to essential resources including CCAT's offices, laboratories, light manufacturing and R&D space. CCAT-based incubators also have access to our world-class conference and meeting facilities and the expertise of our strategic partners. CCAT's collaborative environment enables start-ups to more easily develop both the business and technology elements of their companies.

CCAT also administers the state-funded Small Business Incubator Program (SBIP), which can provide up to $30,000 of potential funding for technology companies based inside of incubators in Connecticut. For more information on applying to this program, click here.
