CCAT's Facilities

CCAT's facilities comprise two main campuses in East Hartford, Connecticut that include office, laboratory, R&D and light manufacturing space, all of which is available to our strategic partners, technology-focused companies and start-ups based within CCAT's incubator program.

Companies based at CCAT have been chosen for their expertise in areas aligned with CCAT’s major focus industries -- such as aerospace, clean energy, lasers, fuel cells, medical devices and advanced materials and processing technologies.

INNOVATION CENTER

The Innovation Center, which is based on the campus of Pratt & Whitney and the the United Technologies Research Center, houses both the Laser Applications Laboratory and primary incubator facility for CCAT. Tenant companies inside the Innovation Center have access both to laboratory and R&D space for projects that require industrial laboratory capabilities. In addition, the Innovation Center also offers access to extensive materials characterization and other technology support services to those companies.

CONFERENCE SPACE

In addition to its leased facilities, CCAT also has an extensive amount of conference space available both to partner and non-partner companies. Collaboration Center

CCAT's facilities include a state-of-the art Collaboration Center, which can be used for video-conferencing, Web casts and other cutting-edge collaborative applications.

INCUBATOR SPACE

CCAT's business incubator is a perfect first home for any technology company. Start-ups based at CCAT have access to essential resources such as CCAT's offices, laboratories, light manufacturing and R&D space. Incubator companies at CCAT also have access to our world-class conference and meeting facilities and the expertise of our strategic partners.
