CCAT won a gold Connecticut Quality Improvement Award (CQIA) Innovation Prize for its "Students in Space: Inspiring the Next Generation" results driven program. The Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership received 65 Innovation Prize applications this year. Just two applications reached the platinum level and 11, including CCAT, received gold CQIA Innovation Prize plaques at the 21st Annual CQIA Conference on Quality and Innovation on Novemeber 7, 2008, at Water's Edge Resort in Westbrook, CT.
