CCAT will conduct several summer programs at three local technical schools that will introduce students to career paths in the advanced manufacturing. The Young Manufacturers Summer Academy is an eight-day program for seventh, eighth and ninth grade students who want to learn about manufacturing in fields like aerospace, fuel cells and lasers. Over the course of the program, students learn to work with computers and 3D tools, take field trips to local companies, attend a special career fair and hear about the state’s technical high school system
The first session runs June 29 to July 10. Session two runs July 13 to July 23. Lunch and transportation are provided. Click here for a program application. Please click here to complete the parent survey
