Jinan Students' Perspective:
Global warming is one of the most dangerous things to human beings. Today, to grow, our industry has to burn fossil fuels like oil or gas. The factories use fossil fuels and create greenhouse gases, mostly CO2 and O3.
The USA is a big industrialized country. China is a big country with over one-fifth of the population of the world. The work to avoid global warming in these two countries is necessary and also important.
In some provinces in China, like Gansu and Xinjiang, wind energy is used extensively. And China's traffic has added 20% alcohol to some of the fossil fuels. Hydrogen gas is another useful energy.
We have heard about the hydrogen gas car that is used in Los Angeles and New York. Hydrogen gas cars burn hydrogen with O2 and it becomes water!Solar energy is more popular than some other alternative energies. For example, almost every family in China has a solar water heater. In our opinion, this kind of clean energy will last longer than fossil fuels.
