What Will the Future Look Like?

- Greenland could melt by the end of the millennium, causing the ocean level to rise by 7 meters, which will cause the peninsula of Florida to disappear….no more Florida.
- Approximately one small coral reef dies each year....this causes no more fish, causing more animals to die out, eventually including humans.
- Diseases like tuberculosis and asthma would become abundant….this causes a generation that has more medical problems, especially smaller children.
- Flash Floods would become an almost regular occurrence in Europe….this causes deaths and destroys homes.
- Polar Bears are rapidly becoming extinct, by approximately 1% of the population per year.....this means that the entire polar bear species could die out within our lifetimes.
- Fossil Fuels will eventually run out, including oil and coal…leaving many people without transportation, unless we use ethanol or another fuel source.
However, if action is taken soon, then we can stop it and turn things around. We can save our planet.
