OVERVIEW

The goal of CCAT’s Education Initiative is to advance scientific and technological literacy, stimulate interest in engineering and manufacturing and train the future workforce to be more competitive on a global scale.

To accomplish this goal, CCAT's educational efforts focus on interdisciplinary educational programming that excites students, fosters a multicultural appreciation and enhances hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, math and manufacturing (STEMM). In addition, CCAT's Education Initiative partners with school districts, local and national policymakers, science education organizations, higher education and industry to strengthen STEMM curriculum and workforce development.

Throughout the year, CCAT offers numerous special programs as well as workshops for students and teachers.
