| WORKSHOP SYNOPSIS:
Aerospace OEM’s, including Boeing, GE, and UTC and their suppliers have widely adopted AS9100 (Production) or AS9110 (Maintenance) as the management system standard to which they conform and are registered. They have created the IAOG (International Aerospace Quality Group) and AAQG (American Aerospace Quality Group) to oversee and manage their use.
These standards specify a comprehensive set of quality management system requirements, but must be augmented by a variety of FAR, OEM, and industry specific (CASE) requirements. A properly understood and implemented system should seamlessly integrate these requirements so that they accurately reflect your business management practices, substantiate compliance to regulations, and are acceptable to customers and regulators alike.
This program explores the requirements of the entire family of SAE as quality management system standards. It focuses on the requirements of AS9100 and AS9110, but also explores the use of :
- AS9101 – Auditing checklist
- AS9102 – First Article Inspection
- AS9103 – Key Characteristics
Finally, it explores the proper integration of a wider spectrum of OEM, FAR, and CASE requirements into the system and its audits.
